. Kornis György Párizsban végezte tanulmányait, az École De Beaux Arts mellett Szenes Árpád tanítványaként. Igen fiatalon a Párizsi Opera díszlettervezője lett. Párizsi tartózkodása alatt nagy hatással volt rá Picasso és Matisse művészete. .........
... A nyolcvanas, kilencvenes éveket Bécsben töltötte, az utóbbi időben javarészt már Budapesten alkot. Az Operaház díszlettervezőjeként is dolgozott. Tájai, alakjai nem az olcsó vigasz hamis káprázatával traktálnak.
